San Diego Bathroom Remodels

From Bathroom Updates to Custom Spa Inspired Retreats.

Most bathrooms have been designed at the builder’s convenience. Little thought has gone into what the homeowner prefers. Shower faucets are often in inconvenient places; space is tight and lighting uneven. Usually renovating a bathroom requires taking a fresh look at everything and applying the latest innovations. If you are seeking a fresh perspective on an old bathroom, call us.

From Ordinary Hall Bath to Spa Inspired Guest Retreat
  • Spa Inspired Retreat
  • Open Layout
  • Soaking Tub
  • Semi-Frameless Shower
  • Custom Pebble Trim

This University City (San Diego) client wanted a complete renovation of their hall bathroom. We designed a spa inspired retreat and transformed their ordinary rectangular bathroom with walled sections into an open layout. We removed walls, installed a full shower with semiframeless glass, added a separate deck mounted soaking tub, and tucked the toilet between the shower and bath so it is out of view. We installed a framed picture window and built a custom vanity along with recessed showcase wall shelving.

The granite was used for the vanity top as well as the shower seat and to accent the tub perimeter. Travertine floor and wall tile was accented with custom pebble trim along the walls and also on the shower floor. Bathroom includes an undermount sink, custom framed mirror to match vanity, hand held shower fixture and shower shampoo niche.

Asian Inspired Master Bathroom
  • Asian Inspired Design
  • Hydrothereapy Tub
  • Heated Towel
  • Custom Cabinetry
  • Sustainable Materials

Tierrasanta, San Diego - This Asian-inspired master bathroom is designed with a spa concept in mind. The client requested a relaxing sanctuary for escape after working long hours and she also wanted to display some of her beautiful treasures. By incorporating elements from the Far East, calm colors, ambient lighting and a hydro-aromatherapy bathtub, her dream came to life.

Cherished collections of vases, plates and sculptures are proudly displayed on the custom Chinese-style step cabinet, and other Asian touches are evident throughout the bathroom. The use of warm woods for the cabinet and vanity compliment the cool colors of the painted walls and quartz stone tub enclosure. The details of the organic etched black nickel sink/tub fixtures, tranquil cherry blossom tiles, and multi-level cabinet reflect a unique, elegant, and sophisticated look. The stone bath mats and heated towel bar enhance the spa experience.

This spa master bathroom also incorporates sustainable materials, with the use of bamboo laminated wood flooring, bamboo-style shades, ceramic tiles, quartz stone, and water-efficient fixtures and toilet.
