Working with narrow or small spaces requires a deft touch and a keen sense of proportion. The key: keep the design simple, balanced and well-lit. These two baths, one quite narrow and the second not much larger than a closet, invited repeated motifs in mirrors, lighting, and tiling. The result: bathrooms that are inviting but understated. The numerous details give it a level of refinement not usually seen in baths much larger. This master bathroom is entered through the master bedroom. Its length and narrowness are partly offset by an alcove storage area. The large ceramic tiles in the shower/commode room line the floor as well as a shower. The quite small shower/bath off a second bedroom had little room to spare, so this standalone sink with vertical mirror and light fixture took little space. The tightness of the space required the photo to be taken in three sections
